Autoblog Podcast #105

If we keep this up, we're going to best our record of six in a row, or whatever it was. The Autoblog Podcast crew returns for Autoblog Podcast #105 with Chris, Sam, and Dan discussing a paltry sweep of subjects as the quiet gathers before the storm of Congressional hearings is unleashed this week. We kept it shorter this week, but that doesn't mean that there's not plenty of witty repartee to go around. Enjoy!

I am totally for a $1/gallon tax, no matter what the current price.
I would have been for it at $4/gallon, even if it would have hurt me pretty good.

Quote "I like the XF more than the M5" That must hurt BMW.
By the way, the XF cost 20,000 less!

FYI on Chrysler - the 2.7L is available on retail 300s - the $27K 300 LX is a 2.7L/4-speed combo.
You've gotta move up to the $33Ks 300 Touring to get the 3.5L. And it still comes with the 4-speed "ultradrive" automatic. Even the $36K 300 Limited gets the 3.5L/4-speed auto. To get the 3.5L/5-speed auto you've gotta buy the AWD model.
It's really no wonder that Chrysler is failing.

I've always enjoyed this podcast and was so glad to see it come back but around the 21 minute mark I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I can see your reasoning for the manufacturing issues but the comments do nothing but fuel negative racial stereotypes.
