The Ultimate Gearhead's Desk
Our virtual collection of furniture for car nuts keeps on gaining items. It's already got sofas shaped like the hoods and trunks of cars, carbon fiber chairs, Pininfarina-designed desks, another desk made from a Mini Cooper, Maserati lamps... even wine racks and coffee tables made from engine blocks. This latest addition to the collection, however, may very well be the ultimate gearhead's desk. Created by designer Dale Mathis, the glass tabletop showcases all manner of gears moving in sync and incorporates a keyboard tray. And while it may dazzle and amaze, it sells for an even more amazing $21,000.
Follow the jump to see the executive desk in action, oddly accompanied by a heavy metal soundtrack.

I would prefer the V-12 engine block table from the Top Gear episode posted. Except with a Cadillac V16 block in its stead.

I want a Veyron W16 Quad Turbo (with the turbos attached, of course) buy it's probably quite hard and quite expensive to find one

I can't see any reason to include SOAD in this video at all.
Metalheads don't have the cashflow to support the purchase of $21,000 desks, let alone strobe lights for their vans.

looks steampunk to me, cool, but at that price i'd get something that didnt look like it was designed by a watchmaker

Let's see... victorian furniture + weird gears.
That's not gearhead furniture at all, that's "steampunk".
