Smaller Land Rover vehicle in the works

Land Rover is thinking about building a SUV that would be considered their version of the Mini Cooper. According to Automotive News Europe it will be smaller than the current Freelander that may be moving up-market. Land Rover’s chief designer points to BMW’s recent expansion in its line-up as a basis for his company’s new thinking. “We can do a lot more with the brand than people believe. Who ever thought BMW would ever do a 1 series?”
