The new HSV6000 sedan not only takes the high performance four-door to a new level with the 400hp 6.0 liter LS2
under the hood but is a preview of a new driver interface system via a PDA. DDI is collaboration between the Holden Special Vehicles team and GM’s
Tech Management Group and creates not only a navigation tool but also communication between car and driver. Via a data
bus incorporated into the vehicle’s electronics, the driver can monitor everything from fluid temperatures to vehicle
performance. The DDI unit should become available in other HSV models later this year. No word on if DDI would make its
way to GM performance lines in North America.
