Green gas station opens in Canada

“I’ll have a vegan cookie and a gallon of biodiesel, please.” Topia Energy has opened up the first all-alternative fuel station in Canada called the Greenstop. The very green gas station… whoops, I mean filling station, carries biodiesel and two ethanol blends. Only B20 biodiesel fuel is available at the moment (20% biodiesel, 80% gasoline), although Topia, which is Canada’s biodiesel leader according to Treehugger, is hoping this franchise model takes off. Also, instead of a Wild Bean Café the Greenstop has a Real Café that sells organic snacks, natural soda and organic coffee.
