A Berlin driving teacher who taught over 1,000 students over the years never officially got a license of his own
after failing his first test over four decades ago. He claimed to be too nervous to take the test again, which he
didn’t pass on account of going too quickly around a rotary and failing to stop completely at a stop sign. The lack of
license was recently discovered after a small fender bender with a truck, the man’s first accident ever after driving
countless cars, tractors and East German army tanks over the years.
