G-wagen to get upgrade

For those of you who felt that the G-wagen was too antiquated with sub-par interior matierals and a tired design (at least inside the car), Mercedes-Benz thinks you may have a point. Now that the automaker has announced that the car is off the block for at least another five years, word is that the company will be redoing the interior of the vehicle to better match today’s design trends, as well as the hefty G-wagen price tag. Expect more powerful engines for the G500 and G55 AMG, too.
