Sticking a cargo carrier on the top of your car is an excellent way to give you and your family more space to spread out during a road trip. However, it can also turn into a huge hassle if you select the wrong one. Fortunately, Amazon has a fantastic option that can help you pack up your vehicle with everything you need for your next adventure — without breaking the bank.
The Wild Xplorer Rooftop Cargo Carrier is already available at an affordable price point of just $95, but Amazon has marked it down even further to $57. This makes it an absolute steal for those who like to hit the highway early and often while traveling throughout the country.

The black cargo carrier features pops of blue and gray, ensuring it adds to the aesthetic appeal of your vehicle from the moment you strap it to the top. It also offers 15 cubic feet of storage space on the interior and an exterior constructed from a rugged, military-grade, and waterproof polyester material, inspiring greater confidence in its ability to keep your belongings safe when stored on your car’s roof. It’s even equipped with heavy-duty zippers covered with storm flaps and tough-as-nails Duraflex buckles, making it possible for the carrier to protect your possessions from rain, wind, snow, road debris, and whatever else might get thrown at them.
As if all that wasn’t enough, the carrier — which is 44 inches long, 34 inches wide, and 17 inches thick — is surprisingly easy to install. Additionally, it includes a non-slip rooftop mat to prevent damage to your vehicle.
“It withstood high speeds, heavy rains, and over 900 miles total,” one reviewer wrote after testing it out. “This definitely holds up.”
“The best thing I have ever found,” another shopper added. “It’s amazing. It’s very durable, waterproof, and [of] great quality. I also had no issues installing it on my car’s roof and putting it back into storage when I was finished.”
