No matter what kind of work you’re doing, a strong work light is an essential tool. On all but the sunniest of days, a work light makes it easy to see into the nooks and crannies of what you’re doing and prevents the kind of eye strain that comes from squinting to make out something in the dark. The best work lights are very portable and very bright, and right now Walmart has a model that fits the bill on sale with a huge discount.
The SideKing Rechargeable Work Light is on sale for $17, 56% off its regular $39 price tag. Its rechargeable battery and different mounting options mean you can use it wherever needed, a vast improvement over older models that require a power outlet (and typically an extension cord) in order to illuminate a work area. It’s also IP65-rated to be waterproof and dustproof, rugged construction that means this light can take a beating and keep on shining.
Flash dealThis 5,000-lumen work light is actually an array of five different lights. The unit itself can be rotated 360 degrees and angled up and down over a 90-degree range. It also has two side lights that can be adjusted over a 350-degree range. It comes with a stand and has six strong magnets that mean it can be mounted to any magnetic surface — the hood of a car and a garage door immediately come to mind. It’s also compatible with a tripod (sold separately). There are six modes to choose from, including strobe and spotlight options. This versatile worklight is powered by an 8,000-mAh battery that lasts between 2 and 10 hours. It also doubles as a USB charging bank, so you can recharge your devices at a remote worksite if need be.
One shopper wrote that this light provides “absolutely stellar illumination for any task,” and that it “effortlessly brightens even the darkest workspaces.” They added that the magnetic base “offers unparalleled flexibility in positioning,” and the “rechargeable battery provides ample runtime.” It all adds up to an “indispensable tool that combines power, versatility, and durability into one exceptional package.”
Another shopper, after giving this light a five-star review, raved about how powerful it is. It’s “police helicopter-bright,” they wrote, and it’s hard to think of a more vivid way to describe the 5,000 lumens this thing puts out.
