Getting a build-it-yourself carport is the easiest way to free up tons of valuable garage space without dooming your car to bake in the sun or get buried by the snow. Right now, there’s a well-reviewed carport on sale with a steep discount.
The Quictent 10-Foot by 20-Foot Heavy Duty Carport is on sale for $156 at Walmart. That’s 32% off its normal $229 price tag, and it’s good on the green version of this structure.
Audience FavoriteThe frame of this carport is made of 1.46-inch, powder-coated galvanized steel tubes, a very sturdy and rust resistant material. The cover is made of extra-thick, reinforced polyethylene fabric that’s tearproof, waterproof, and UV-blocking. It also comes with a full suite of reinforcement accessories including base plates, pegs, and elastic ropes that make the entire structure more stable. The pitched roof provides plenty of vertical space and doesn’t allow rainwater to collect and weigh the structure down.
One shopper wrote that this is an “excellent carport” for the money. “The poles are very strong and sturdy” and “the included pins do a great job securing the connections,” they wrote.
Other shoppers variously called this a “very well-made” and “easy to set up” carport that also looks great. More than one also said that the customer service offered by the manufacturer was exceptional.
