A power drill is a necessary tool for any tool kit, but it’s not adequate for those of us who need to install bigger fasteners into harder materials. Those sorts of tasks — think installing a shelf on a brick wall or building a deck frame — require more powerful tools like the hammer drill and impact wrench found in this Milwaukee combo kit that’s on sale at Walmart right now.
The Milwaukee M18 Fuel 2-Tool Combo Kit is on sale for $299, 25% off its normal price tag of $399. It comes with a hammer drill, impact driver, two batteries, a charger, and a carrying case — a complete set that, along with that relatively pedestrian power drill, makes it extremely unlikely that you’ll ever find a fastening job you can’t handle.

The hammer drill delivers “unmatched power under load” despite measuring just 6.9 inches long, small enough to fit into tight spaces. Its AutoStop control mode prevents over-rotation during bind-ups so this drill will never spin itself out of your hands. The impact driver is similarly powerful, with industry-leading speed, smooth trigger control, and a motor that provides “superior power, efficiency, and durability.” And where lots of tool deals are on bare tools, this kit comes with a pair of M18 RedLithium XC 5Ah batteries, a charger, and a carrying case. Everything is covered by Redlink Plus Intelligence that ensures optimal performance, protects overloads, and extends the lives of both tools and batteries.
One shopper called these tools “amazing” and added that it’s “great to have reliable tools like these for general tasks around the house.” Another added that they are “powerful, reliable, and easy to use.”
Another satisfied customer said these tools provide “plenty of power for your everyday needs and then some,” while another confirmed something that’s not always certain when ordering tools online: these are genuine Milwaukee tools and not cheap knockoffs.
The Milwaukee M18 Fuel 2-Tool Combo Kit is a great way to build out your power tool collection with two powerful pieces, along with the necessary accessories that don’t always come with new tools. It’s a great deal at $299, the kind of purchase you’ll make once and enjoy for years if not decades to come.
