A big screwdriver bit set is one of those purchases that makes sense for almost anyone who owns a drill or impact driver. Small bit sets are fine until you lose your most used Phillips bit, run into a Torx fastener, need a different length, or realize the one specialty bit you need isn’t in the case. Having a larger assortment of bits on hand can save time during furniture assembly, garage projects, home repairs, deck work, shelving installs, automotive trim work, and general DIY jobs. It’s also useful if you tend to wear through bits, misplace them, or keep separate tool setups in the house, garage, and truck.
Right now at Amazon, you can get the DeWalt Tough Grip 120-Piece Screwdriver Bit Set for $50. There’s no big discount attached to this one, but that’s still a solid everyday low price for this many bits from a name like DeWalt. The set includes Tough Grip screwdriving bits designed for demanding fastening work, with select sizes redesigned to be up to 40 times tougher for reduced bit breakage. The bits also have 1/4-inch hex shanks, so they can be used with impact drivers and drills.
The big advantage here is that this gives DIYers, homeowners, and tool users a deep supply of common driver bits without having to buy several smaller packs. DeWalt says the bits use optimized geometry for a tighter fit on common fasteners, including T20 through T40 sizes, which can help reduce slipping. The set also comes packed in DeWalt’s connectable Tough Case Plus system, so storage is part of the appeal. That’s helpful if your current bits are scattered across drawers, tool bags, and random cases. This huge set may not be necessary if you only need one or two replacement bits, but if you regularly use a drill or impact driver, a 120-piece set from DeWalt for $50 is an easy way to stock up and stay organized.
“This is amazing,” raved one buyer. “The lid of this bit case is also compatible with DeWalt’s Tstak line. So the lid of this case has options for more storage.”
Another reviewer kept it short and sweet, saying, “DeWalt always makes quality tools and accessories.”
