Anyone with a robust collection of cordless tools should have a similarly robust collection of batteries, but stocking up on chargers adds an extra layer of convenience for power tool power users. More batteries means easy switching during longer or multi-tool jobs, and more chargers means more batteries at the ready. There’s rarely been a better time to add both to your arsenal.
The Craftsman V20 Battery and Charger is just $82 right now at Amazon, 49% less than the $159 list price. And far from being just another battery and charger, both components are actually very good.
The battery is a 4.0Ah model, a fairly moderate capacity that balances runtime and weight considerations. It has a three-LED state-of-charge indicator and premium-grade high-performance cells. It’s also compatible with all Craftsman V20 power and outdoor tools. The charger is similarly compatible with every Craftsman V20 battery, and it can recharge a compact battery in an hour or less. Plus, it has overload protection that helps extend the working life of those premium-grade cells.
This set has earned over 730 five-star ratings from Amazon customers. One shopper called it a “quick, easy, and quality tool,” while another said it “charges fast, and the battery lasts for an extremely long time.”
Other shoppers pointed out that this charger works quickly, and that “a full battery charge gives sufficient time to complete most easy to medium projects.”
Just $82 for both a Craftsman V20 Battery and Charger is a fantastic deal, and the fact that this kit is as well-reviewed as this one is just further proof that this is a great deal. If you’ve ever found yourself pausing a project — or even just worrying about pausing a project — because of a dead battery, it’s a small price to pay for the peace of mind and extra work time that this set will provide. Just make sure you grab one before this impressively steep discount disappears.
