The Energy Information Administration released an alarming report this week, revealing that the average American homeowner lost electricity for about 11 hours in 2024. This number has nearly doubled over the last decade, suggesting you invest in a generator or a portable power station you can rely on to keep your devices charged during an outage.
As luck would have it, Amazon is offering a terrific — and very timely! — discount on a portable power station that can get the job done if your house ever loses electricity. The retailer usually sells the Bailibatt 300W Portable Power Station for $160, but it’s currently available for only $90, making now a fantastic time to invest in one.

Measuring only 8 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 6 inches tall, and weighing under 5 pounds, this portable power station is easy to carry around, turning it into an excellent choice for those planning to use it during power outages or even take it on camping trips. At the same time, it’s also powerful, offering a 300W total capacity and the ability to charge up to eight devices at once.
While this power station isn’t ideal for charging larger appliances, it can keep smartphones, tablets, laptops, and even some small appliances up and running. Simply plug them into one of the power station’s many outlets and ports — it has AC and DC outlets, as well as USB-A and USB-C ports — and let it handle the rest with its well-equipped 257Wh battery pack.
Additionally, Bailibatt always prioritizes safety with its power stations, and this one is no different. It features a battery management system that runs in the background at all times, providing overcharge, overload, overvoltage, and overcurrent protection. The brand also offers the option to connect this power station to a solar panel (not included), making it even more useful during extended power outages or camping adventures.
“This little power station is such a lifesaver,” one reviewer wrote. “It’s lightweight and easy to carry but still powerful enough to run my laptop, charge phones, and handle small devices. The battery life also lasts longer than expected.”
“This portable power station is amazing,” another shopper added. “It’s compact, powerful, and reliable — perfect for camping trips, emergencies, or powering devices on the go. The battery charges quickly, too.”
