If your car doesn’t have a built-in infotainment system, there are now easy ways to modernize your ride without a full dashboard replacement. Plug-and-play screens can add wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, hands-free voice control, navigation, and even dash cams with just a quick setup. They’re ideal for older vehicles or drivers looking for an affordable way to get their hands on the latest tech.
The Apenet Wireless CarPlay Screen is just $70 at Amazon right now, and does all of that and more. This plug-and-play unit includes an 8.1-inch touchscreen, a 2K front dash cam, and a 1080p rear camera with parking assist. It’s compatible with both iOS and Android phones and works wirelessly, eliminating the hassle of cords hanging across your dashboard.

In addition to its large 8.1-inch screen, it packs in a ton of useful features. You get split-screen camera feeds, voice control with Siri or Google Assistant, Bluetooth audio, and a clear, high-definition display. The front camera automatically records in 2K resolution and uses a G-sensor to lock important clips in the event of an accident. Navigation is easy too, thanks to mirror-link support for Waze and Google Maps or built-in offline maps with traffic updates. A 64GB memory card is included, and installation takes just minutes using your car’s 12-volt power outlet.
