The 2025 Audi Q5 in a Nutshell
In response to the success of the BMW X3 and (at the time) Mercedes-Benz GLK, Audi rolled out the Q5 in 2008. Since then, it’s been a hot seller for the folks from Ingolstadt, consistently being the brand’s top-selling model in American and even global sales charts for the last couple of years.
We’re now in the third generation of Q5, and it’s still pretty fresh out of the kitchen as it came out in (very) late 2024 for the 2025 model year. It rides on the new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture that was first used in the redesigned A5. And while it’s a totally new car, some things stay the same, particularly its rivals. It’s still trying to grab sales away from the X3 and the GLK’s successor, the GLC.

2025 Audi Q5 Lease Deals for January
There’s still a good amount of 2025 stock left with the Q5, and Audi would like to bounce back from its sales slump last year by leasing them off as quickly as it can. This month, one trim can be leased for less, namely the mid-spec Premium Plus Quattro. That model can be leased for $629 for 39 months with $4,923 due at signing.
Again, we’d like to remind our dear readers that this is for the 2025 model year Q5. At the moment, there are none listed for the 2026 model just yet. Per the usual, it’s $0.25/mile in excess of 32,500 miles and excessive wear and use. Offer is valid until February 2, 2026.

2025 Audi Q5 Highlights
The all-new Q5 is offered in three trim levels: the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Prices range from $52,200 to $60,600, although that can quickly balloon up depending on options and packages selected. Quattro all-wheel drive is standard on all trims, along with a new MMI infotainment screen, Audi virtual cockpit plus, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power-adjustable front seats and steering wheel, plus memory settings (driver’s side), and Audi Pre-sense advanced driver assists.
Go for the Premium Plus, and that adds adaptive cruise, surround-view cameras, head-up display, a Bang and Olufsen audio system, and larger alloys. As for the Prestige, that adds a passenger-side screen, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, digital OLED headlights, and air suspension.
But regardless of model chosen, all are powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission dubbed S-Tronic in Audi-speak. Power is rated at 268 hp and 295 lb-ft torque, which is on par with its main competitors.

Final Thoughts
The compact luxury crossover market is a tough segment with loads of hugely competent choices. Thankfully, the all-new Q5 doesn’t get lost in the crowd by offering a tech-dense package and a chassis that threads the fine line between comfort and handling. It’s not the most playful choice, and you’ll have to go for the Macan (the Q5’s cousin) for that. But if it’s a sophisticated small(ish) premium crossover experience you’re after, the Audi is well worth considering.
