The car you see above could, possibly, be the 2015 Subaru WRX, a car that isn't supposed to reach the public eye until next week's Los Angeles Auto Show. The leaked image has been circulating around the web, along with a brief teaser video of the new sports sedan (which you can see below).

The image, which AutoWeek reports may be (probably) a render, appeared on the Clubrz Facebook page, a Subaru fan group. It does fit somewhat with the teaser image we showed you yesterday, while featuring certain styling cues from the WRX Concept shown at the last New York Auto Show.

Now, we'd advise you take this with an appropriately sized grain of salt. We won't know for certain what the next WRX looks like until we're parked in an uncomfortable chair at the LA Convention Center. Still, take a look up top and let us know if the new WRX - which, we'll point out, has neither gold wheels, a big wing or World Rally Blue paint - fits with what you wanted to see. We've also got a very short teaser of the car that plays on the teaser image posted yesterday, which you can see by scrolling down.

"2015 Subaru WRX leaks out ahead of debut [w/video] " Followed by: "The car you see above could, possibly, be the 2015 Subaru WRX" "...which AutoWeek reports may be (probably) a render" "Now, we'd advise you take this with an appropriately sized grain of salt" And a "video"? Automotive journalism at its finest.

who can honestly say they're surprised by what they see? How about we wait until the car's specs are revealed before being so quick to judge.

Disappointing, especially after seeing the concept from a couple months ago.

If this car was only seen as such there wouldn't be drama. It certainly looks like a Impreza WRX. The problem is all the "WRX is going to be a more hardcore focused platform" talk by Subaru. And then the real deal was when they unveiled that gorgeous WRX concept at the NYIAS this year and blew everyone away. It was one of the best looking cars unveiled there, if not the best, and then they pull this stunt. Scumbag Steve meme? More like Scumbag Subie. What a dick move by Subaru.

Ha! Exactly what I expected. But hey, this car will still be the performance bargain that it always has been. It will sell very well and I will be buying one come July. The fact that the car is quirky looking still will ensure it remains a niche vehicle.

The WRX model never had a big wing or gold wheels. You're mistaking it for the STi. It really doesn't look so bad. Its biggest problem it that it looks too tall, which is partly due to it using the body of the current Impreza. It really just needs to be lowered a little and have a better stance. Here's hoping the big wing and potentially bigger wheels of the incoming STi version will help.

      Needs more front overhang...

If this is it, it's not bad at all. Although I need to see it in proper WRX clothes (WR Blue, gold wheels, huge spoiler).

Not that bad, not that exceptional either. I agree though, the right outfit is needed before a proper decision. I dont know how I'm gonna feel about a huge spoiler on the back of this. The sloping rear glass rather than the traditional sedan shape will be interesting. Maybe better for CoD
