It may have gotten lost in the noise coming out of E3, particularly the preview for Forza Horizon that was released by Turn 10 Studios, but your good old Forza Motorsport 4 game got some new DLC this past week in the form of the Meguiar's Car Pack.

As usual, this month's car pack injects your copy of Forza 4 with ten new cars to drive. The headlining ride is the 2011 Chevrolet #4 Corvette Racing ZR1. The game did ship with two Corvette Racing cars already, the 2004 #3 C5.R and 2006 #4 C6.R, both of which were much more dominant in their respective GTS and GT1 classes than this more recent ZR1-based car has been in the GT2 class, but its inclusion will round out your collection of modern ALMS Corvettes.

What you'll probably jump into first, though, is the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series. We've driven it and you should too, even if it's only in the game. The 1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird is also nice to see in this pack, as well as the '92 Toyota Celica GT-Four RC ST185. You also get the original 1963 Volkswagen Beetle, 1997 Maserati Ghibli Cup, 1958 MG MGA Twin-Cam, 2011 Aston Martin Cygnet, 1940 Ford De Luxe Coupe and 1959 BMW 507.

Unfortunately, the Forza Motorsport 4 Season Pass has concluded, so everyone will have to pony up the 560 MS Points ($7.00) to play. A photo gallery and video showcasing the new cars are posted below.

I love the '58 MGA. It was the first car my dad ever owned. He's almost 70 and I got him to enjoy a XBox video game for the first time ever driving it around the 'gring. Took him almost 25 minutes, but still...

...aaaaaaaaand STILL NO 2012 MUSTANG GT / BOSS 302. I give up Turn10. I really do. I've BEGGED you SO MANY TIMES on your forums, FB walls, etc...and you STILL dont give the Mustang community what they want. I want to throw my money at you, but apparently my monies are no good. My money goes to GT5. (Yes I know all about it. Save yourself the trouble)

Now that's a smart idea: complain about how one game doesn't have one car that you want, and then go to a different game that is even less likely to get it. Derp.

He mentions Gt5 because he already has that game, knowing well that it wont give him the car he wants. If FM4 had it available, he would be willing to splash the money on it.

The Cayman R is in. As well the new Cayenne, and the 997-2 GT3 Cup and RSR models. I know there's 2 of each model, but EA surely caused this. They said long ago they planned to add the 918, even to the Autovista mode, but everything was blocked. It's not like they have freedom to choose the models. Also, a lot of cars from FM3 got upgraded, the 944 now have the correct wheels and indicators, the 997 Turbo is a whole new 3d model, since the one from FM2/FM3 was rubbish, and the Carrera RS now have the Porsche logo in the rear. Also, a lot of OEM parts are available, so you can have a 964 Turbo, a 901 E/R, a 993 Turbo S...They even fixed the sound of the Carrera GT, which was wrong when the pack went released, with a user-transparent patch. It's very east to call them greedy, to say they don't listen...but when you know how things work, you discover that they are not the damn devil. And people got used to that, so all they do is moan and cry on every single web and forum on the internet. People cried for ages for the Mazda 787B, the RUF Yellowbird, and lots of cars we now have. But it's not enough, it's never enough. I can only see "Add the Camaro ZL1 (Which is confirmed to be added in a future DLC), the Boss, the BRZ!! Now!! You don't listen!!!11" Of course they don´t. Nobody wants to stand such a infantile actitude. Oh, the BRZ/Toyota 86 is exclusive to GT5 for some time, that's why is not in. There's a reason for everthing. The Ferrari 550 racers were cut in FM4 because Ferrari said so. They have a very large pool of cars, and they are adding them eventually, but people wants everything, and wants it now. Like the night racing, or the weather. People can't understand the Xbox 360 CANNOT run a game with 16 hi-def cars, multiple light sources, lots of particles, and a very detailed scenario at 60 FPS. That's why Horizon have at least night, because it runs at 30 FPS. Like PGR4. As i said in my previous commentary, everyone is free of course to say their oppinion, but if you don't know the facts, maybe you are believing what you want to believe, not the reality. I can blame them, for example, for announcing the Porsche pack and not saying a single word for months, i can even blame them for the track selection, they should have added Spa/Bathurst before Hockenheimring or Indy, in my oppinion. And they should redo the Ring for once and all, but as i said, since i don't know the reasons why they did/didn't all those things, what i'm not going to do is calling them stupid. For the same reason, i will not think they are doing well in that aspect, but that's why i want to know. In order to say things with a reason. A real reason based in facts.

Horizon will only be running 30 FPS??? Aww, that's so lame. So very, very lame. I'm still incredibly hyped for this game, as I've been a huge Forza fan since day one back in '05, but 30 FPS is so last-generation. It really does affect the fluid movement of the visuals, and is quite a letdown to learn.

I agree. Pack was a total waste of money, time, and space. I will never again buy another pack.

How does their car selection system work? It looks like the company that the pack is named for makes the suggestions and turn10 picks from the suggestions. Correct me if I'm wrong.

They pick two cars which are remotely appealing, and lump eight obscure cars with it. The free car is one of the obscure, usually non-customizable(engine/drivetrain) cars, and you have to pay to get the two that are remotely appealing.

There are those of us who prefer the obscure cars. Many of the cars that have been included in these packs, and that some deem "undesirable", are the ones I look forward to the most. The first car I bought and drove from this pack was the Maserati. I have bought and raced every car in this pack except for the Corvette and the Benz. Different strokes and all that.

@ Shawn Brinker I agree with you. The "undesirable" cars in the monthly car packs are actually the ones I desire the most. They make for a more diverse and entertaining car lineup in the game, and IMO are an awful lot of fun to drive and tinker with.

Coming in a pack this summer when exactly hasn't been announced and were not even sure if it will be separate for a actual pack or part of a pack. It's not uncommon to have two packs release in this same month so we might end up seeing a July pack and a Viper pack.

For those of you asking "Where's this car? And that car?" My guess is they're holding those off for Forza Horizon.
