Toyota FT-86 II Concept – Click above for high-res image gallery

The Toyota FT-86 II concept brings us one step closer to a production rear-wheel-drive Toyota that promises to be fun to drive and great looking at the same time. We don't have a whole lot in the way of hard specs, but we do have plenty of high resolution pictures of a really hot-looking concept.

Toyota trotted out its black beauty in front of the all-seeing camera lens for an in-depth studio shoot, and we've got the pictures to prove it. Check out full compliment of high-resolution photos in the gallery below, then hit the jump to check out the video of the Sports Illustrated Swim Suit-style photo shoot. If the production FT-86 looks this good, we can't wait for hit to hit news stands dealers everywhere.

I'll keep my Genesis Coupe, thank you! Although maybe the Subie version may have me taking a different tune...

That spoiler and front lip is right out of the Canadian Tire Chevy Cavalier accessories bin. Shave that and it's a pretty good looking car.

...And now we know where the Pontiac Aztec designers (sic) went to work!

Looks awesome. Now show us the production version and get it on dealer lots already! They've been teasing this for too long already. I'd hate to see them pull an NSX and can it at the last minute, but that's always a risk with sports car concepts/prototypes nowadays.

Looks real droopy in the back, like it's all spilling off a table. The car has terrible proportions, with a big bubble cabin sitting too far back and too high up.

It's a big improvement from the first one, but there's still a lot of cohesion that's missing from this car. Easier to look at than a genesis coupe, that's for sure.

I have been liking it, until now. It keeps getting uglier, and with all the delays it will have a lot of opportunities to look worse before it's actually released. Shame.
