Limited Edition Infiniti G37 Convertible Premier to be sold through Bloomingdale's

We still have to wait a few more weeks for the official unveiling of the Infiniti G37 Convertible at the Los Angeles Auto Show. But in the meantime, Infiniti has announced a Premier Bloomingdale's-only version which will be limited to just 200 copies. Sharing the same mechanicals as the regular production version (3.7-liter V6 rated at 328 hp), the Bloomingdale's model will be differentiated by its dark Platinum Graphite paint over Monaco Red leather upholstery. Special 19-inch wheels and a new grille complete the exterior package, while inside a touchscreen nav and Bose Open Air sound system will come standard on the LE. The Bloomingdale's Premiere model goes on sale November 10th, but pricing has yet to be disclosed.

How is it associated any more than the dealership you bought your car from is associated with your car? Bloomingdale's sells all kinds of low volume luxury stuff, and I don't think people are going to associate the car with bloomingdale's any more than they'd associate some designer suit with bloomingdale's.
It's sold through Bloomingdale's but the name of the car doesn't have the word Bloomingdale's in it, it's just a Premier limited edition.

Great color-combo with a beautiful red interior. BMW does something similar to this. This thing is going to sell like hotcakes and leave the IS250C in the dust.
Great job Infiniti, sorry Lexus try again.

The Lexus is great.
Great design, lots of luxury and Lexus build quality and reliability. Plus there is a F version in the works.
This infinite is not all that good.

But...it can only sell like hotcakes for 200 units...so it really can't sell very much.
The real pity is that since it's a super limited edition this means the regular version can't come in this color combo or it'd ruin the entire point of a limited edition. I do think it's a gorgeous color combo but it's still pretty limited as far as volume goes.

That car's profile looks pretty bad. Kind of reminds me of the Solara's profile. I'm not really feeling this design (nor the 370Z) that much at all. Call me old fashioned, but I much prefer the older look that Hyundai borrowed from everyone else for their GenCoupe.

Why buy it at all, from anyone?

Seems like a pretty cool color combo, too bad they ruin the G37 with awful all red taillights.
Just cheapens a car.

It's loads better than some of the God awful clear tail lights we've seen recently... like the WRX. Now THAT looks cheap.

I was thinking the same thing about the taillights being all red. It is one of the aspects I like most about my 07 Altima are the taillights and how they match the headlights. It sort of balances thing out instead of the Altima coupe which has the all red version and whose rear end styling is sort of lost.
