VIDEO: Autoblog drives the Koenigsegg CCX
What's it like driving a supercar with over 800 horsepower that can accelerate to sixty in slightly over three seconds? I don't know, you'll have to ask Autoblogger Frank Filipponio who did just that at the official U.S. unveiling of the Koenigsegg CCX. Only one car was on hand to attack the track with and it was the exact same CCX that the Stig flogged on Top Gear to a record lap time, complete with the rear wing that was added for extra stability by Koenigsegg. Special thanks goes out to Drew Phillips from Fast-Autos.net who served as our impromptu driver for the video shoot and our brethren over at Netscape for producing the video.

WTF WAS THAT? I was expecting at least a decent video. What I got was seisure-inducing editing and soundtrack that made my ears bleed.
What it should have been - a video explaining the technical nuances of the car with some in and out of car video and the car making it's own audio soundtrack.

You get a chance to drive the CCX and all you filmed was THAT?! How about a shot of the car turning corners on the track? Or a standing start tire smoking acceleration run? Instead, you decide to mix it with bad music and turn it into a "youtube" video. And this was after having acknowledged that this was the Top Gear CCX - so someone already made a good video of the car for you to start with!

WTF? Was that supposed to be a really bas music video or something? Why do we want to hear that awful song instead of the awesome music coming from the CCX itself? And no acceleration runs?
Weak sauce.

That was pretty underwhelming. And yes, the soundtrack was atrocious. Unless you're 12 and undiscerning.

That was absolutely horrible. And why the music? Why not just the sound of that engine?
I can sum it up well for anybody who wants to save themselves 1 minute and four seconds of their life.
:00 - :16 -- Netscape advertisement
:18 - :51 -- Shaky camera with awful music in the background of the CCX. Has some neat high-school level mirror & flashing effects near the end.
:52 - :56 -- Listen close and you can hear the CCX a little bit mixed in with the music.
:57 - 1:04 -- fast-autos.net advertisement.
Woo! That was AWESOME!

Produced by Netscape? So that's what they're doing now.
They're doing it so well, too.

What no dropping of the hammer? I wanted to hear that car growl! And since the stig already spun it into the grass, I expected some hard driving on the car. Although it appears someone already tweaked the passenger side door.

So, what's with the lousy camera work and even worse music? I want hear that supercharged V8 roar, not some crummy music!

Uh, yeah.
Like everyone has mentioned, please drop the soundtrack and let the car "speak" for itself through it's exhaust. This is an auto enthuisiast site not a rock video.
I'd like to see both footage outside the car and inside the car looking out. Combine with this with a legible view of the speedo, tach. and a real-time g-meter so you can get a feel for how quick a car is, how well it corners, and stops.

Why are you using Youtube for this? Youtube has aweful quality, and for us car buffs, why not "keep it in the family" by using StreetFire.net instead. Not to mention StreetFire has way better exposure for car videos and much better quality.
For example
