Remember when French automaker PSA Peugeot Citroen unveiled its diesel hybrid prototypes? The company has announced it is seeking a partnership with other auto manufacturers or suppliers to develop production models to sell in Europe by 2010. Said Jean-Martin Folz, CEO of PSA: “We plan on marketing several tens of thousands diesel hybrid cars in the M1 [lower-medium] segment from 2010.”
PSA Peugeot Citroen's major concern is the cost of the hybrid technology. Partnerships with other automotive companies would help the company spread out the financial burden.

There have been no response to PSA's classified ad by other companies so far.
