The Grand Tour, which is an Amazon Prime exclusive, will begin streaming on November 18th. So get your Amazon Prime accounts ready, or sign up, and mark your calendars. The trio have been teasing their upcoming show with
numerous clips of their mishaps. And while the clips are entertaining, we’re itching to see the gang back in action.
A new episode of
The Grand Tour will air every Friday for 12 weeks, with all three hosts committing to three seasons. The first episode of
The Grand Tour will feature the gang in their
first studio tent recording in California, which is being filmed later this month.
As part of the show’s announcement,
The Grand Tour put out a 30-second clip of what we can expect and it looks like a lot of the same shenanigans from the
Top Gear days. The most exciting part of the short video has the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and Porsche 918 Spyder drifting on a track.
After the
BBC sacked Clarkson for punching a producer, the former
Top Gear host, and his fellow co-hosts,
had some trouble getting the Amazon Prime series going.
The Grand Tour travels to different locations throughout the world, and hosts each episode inside a massive tent (instead of
Top Gear‘s airplane hangar). The first bit of filming took place in
Johannesburg, South Africa in July. While the latest season of
Top Gear
garnered mixed reviews with its new cast,
The Grand Tour promises to have the Clarkson and company doing the same things that we loved on their old show: undertaking in unconventional comparisons, testing expensive supercars, and filming in exotic locations.
