There’s some kind of back story here that nobody yet knows. Green Ford Escorts in the Medford, Oregon area have been targeted by a serial arsonist recently. Three green Escorts have been either completely destroyed or damaged so far. Authorities have little to go on, other than a suspicion that an individual has a particularly strong distaste for the car. Perhaps it’s some deep-seated latent hatred for a first car. Or maybe a green Escort was driven by an unrequited love interest. As hateful as the little Ford of yore is, it’s just not worth it. Besides, there’s been a precipitous decline in Escorts on the street anyway, leading us to believe the car itself is doing a fine job of disappearing without any help. Thanks to Brad.
