Mitsubishi burning

Mitsubishi recorded $4.4 billion in loses for the fiscal year ended March 31. Last year the automaker lost $2 billion. The dying product mix in the U.S. is nothing compared to the problems they face in Japan after the “hide the defects so we don’t have to pay for a recall” scandal. The losses were slightly worse than what it had forecast in January. Mitsubishi hopes the newEclipse will start a whirlwind of sales, but right now we just feel a slight breeze. We’ll know more with June sales figures.
