Honda’s Brackley, UK-based F1
team is evidently in need of a major makeover. Or so one would surmise after news today that Simon Fuller, backer of
American Idol and famous himself for making the Spice Girls famous (that took skill) will be responsible for
helping Honda’s F1 team turn over a new leaf. What’s in store for the team? Maybe camo driving suits and members
of the pit crew who are voted off?
All joking aside, Honda F1 spokespeople think that improving the
organization’s image through entertainment is a good thing as the sport struggles for viewership.
