The first-ever Acura RSX challenge, which put six magazines head-to-head in a competition of “tuning, style and
driving,” has been won by the team from Car & Driver, who received their trophy today at SEMA. Honda
Tuning
and Super Street magazines tied for second. More…

The C&D crew dominated the track events (slalom, road course, quarter-mile and 60-0 braking) with its
Comptech-supercharged RSX, driven by magazine technical director Larry Webster. Chassis mods included Moton adjustable
external-reservoir shocks, a King Motorsports competition spring set and StopTech brakes. Mugen body upgrades helped
the car in the style portion of the competition.
