VW C1 Concept back to the drawing board

The car that would be Volkswagen’s 5 series to the Phaeton’s 7-series aspirations is being tweaked. One can’t imagine why the car company would be hesitant to go forward with another luxury offering after the Phaeton’s bombing of almost historic proportions. The company says the new model will be a sporty yet comfortable cruiser while some folks at the automaker contemplate making it a crossover wagon-type vehicle. Either way VW better go overboard with the design and keep the cost at their estimated $43,000 mark or folks might treat it like the unwanted luxury brother it will be positioned next to.
