The Five Hundred: Ford looks to put "stylish" and "domestic mid-sized sedan" in same sentence

Not an easy task, from what I understand. But the Five Hundred has something else besides inoffensive looks— it’s designed to be a car alternative for potential SUV shoppers. It tries to put SUV attributes into a sedan body, such as big time cargo capacity, a tall-ish seating position, optional all-wheel-drive, and extra-legroom for rear seat passengers. All of your standard-issue luxury features will be there, leather, half-decent stereo, 97-zone climate control, etc. The Five Hundred will make use of a 200-hp Duratec V6, and not a 500-hp V12 like I wrongly assumed from reading its name. Oh well.
