What you see before you is the upcoming Jeep Rescue. The Jeep Rescue will be based on the
upcoming Wrangler platform, so think of the Rescue as a four door Wrangler. A truck is also planned for the new
platform. The next generation Wrangler and its variants will continue to be Jeep’s off-road vehicles. They will be the
halo vehicles for the Jeep brand, with the Liberty, Grand Cherokee, and Commander filling a more mainstream role. With
the new Jeeps being available with the CRD diesel engine, these off-road machines should also be relatively
fuel-efficient.
