Engadget brings us the news that Microsoft’s new TBox car computer
is almost ready to hit the road. The system will run on software called “Microsoft Automotive” and will be able to play
digital music, make hands-free calls, provide vehicle diagnostics and give access to electronic yellow pages.
Supposedly the cost will likely be under $500. We have no idea what this product will look like but it will be fitted
in all 23 Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo models when it is road ready.
