Perhaps the post should be titled “Jaguar’s non-SUV plans.” Rumors were flying around about
Jaguar creating an SUV. We knew this was rubbish, because it would both ruin Jaguar’s image and step on Land Rover’s
toes. That kind of foolishness is something Ford and Jaguar cannot afford. Rumors are the Jaguar will create a tall
wagon or crossover for its lineup. With Mercedes set to enter the sport wagon/crossover segment with its R-Class and
BMW rumored to do the same, it was only a matter of time before Jaguar might join the club. The crossover is rumored to
be built on the upcoming S80 platform. We’re still not certain that the crossover is a good game plan for Jaguar. The
