In-vehicle iPod use too confusing for many consumers

Autobytel Inc., a web-based car buying service, did a recent
survey that showed that 1/3 of iPod users can’t figure out how to make the darn things work in their cars. Another
third say that they’ve only been “somewhat successful.”

Additionally, while 4 out of 5 people say that they or someone in their family owns an iPod, only four percent of
vehicles today have iPod compatibility. That leaves many trying to figure out how to use the radio transmitters or
cassette adapters, which is where the confusion comes into play.

Autobytel can help us out with that too, however. They have a one-stop help center for hooking up your iPod,
checking out Podcasts and other content, and even gives a run down of iPod-compatible cars for your next purchase.
