Canada gets new Echo, US in question

In this story describing spy photos of the European version of the Toyota Vitz, named Yaris, it says that Canada will get the model that looks most like the Vitz to replace the Echo sedan and 3-door hatchback. Currently it is not known if the U.S. market will get an Echo replacement. With Scion making a big name, an Echo replacement might be better suited there than with the Toyota badge.
