An American businessman will auction off a 30-year-old Ford Escort that belonged to the late Pope John Paul II at a Kruse International auction next month. The light-blue 1975 Ford Escort is expected to get $1.5 to $5-million. After seeing the amount of money the 1999 Volkswagen Golf owned by Pope Benedict XVI, why wouldn’t he want to sell.
