Debuting at Auto Shanghai 2005 next week, the new Chevrolet Aveo shows a much-improved design and aligns itself
better with the Chevrolet line. GM states that the new car “will serve as a benchmark for exterior and interior
craftsmanship”. Currently we do not have pictures of the interior. In China, the Aveo will be available with a choice
of a 1.4-liter or 1.6-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine. No information is available about the U.S. version of the car.
We just hope that the powertrain gets the same kind of boost (in fuel economy numbers mostly) that the exterior has
received.
