When it comes to reliable backup power, portable power stations are becoming a go-to for campers, road trippers, and homeowners preparing for outages. Unlike noisy gas-powered generators, these battery-powered units offer a quiet, rechargeable way to keep essentials running. They’re especially handy during storm season, long weekends outdoors, or just for peace of mind when you need to power electronics without access to the grid. And we found a heck of a deal on one of these at Walmart.
For a limited time, the Oupes Exodus 1500W Portable Power Station is a solid unit on sale for just $399. Despite weighing only 30.5 pounds, it packs a 1,488 watt-hour capacity and delivers 1,500W of AC output with a 3,600W surge peak. That’s enough to handle appliances like refrigerators, power tools, and even small air conditioners during an outage. For outdoor use, it can power camping stoves, lights, laptops, or charge multiple devices at once thanks to its mix of USB-C, USB-A, DC, and AC outlets.

One of its biggest strengths is the fast charging ability, allowing you to go from 0 to 80% in just 1.5 hours, or go to a full charge in two hours. Its lithium iron phosphate battery is built for longevity, with a lifespan of over 4,000 cycles, which is up to 10 years of dependable use while maintaining 70% of its original capacity. That makes it not just useful for emergencies, but also a long-term investment for people who camp or use portable power often.
As one reviewer put it, “The Exodus 1500 can be a true lifesaver when the power goes out. This unit is small but powerful.”
A second satisfied customer added, “[It] charges quickly. Can’t beat the price for the amount of watt hours being supplied.”
A $400 discount like this likely isn’t going to last long, so visit Walmart today and get your hands on the Oupes Exodus 1500W Portable Power Station for just $399 while it’s still on sale for 50% off.
