A folding e-bike can make a lot of sense if you want electric assist without dealing with the size of a full-frame electric bike. It’s great for apartment living, dorms, small garages, RV trips, commuting, and anyone who wants something that can fit in a closet, elevator, or car trunk. The smaller wheel setups also gives it a more compact feel, which can be helpful for shorter rides, neighborhood cruising, campground use, and quick errands around town. It’s a different kind of e-bike than a big fat tire model, but the space-saving design is the whole point.

Right now, Walmart has the Goku 350W Electric Bike marked down to just $240 from its usual $460 price. That’s a strong discount on a compact folding e-bike with a 350W motor, a 500W peak output, and a top speed of up to 18 MPH. It also has a 48V 8Ah battery with a pedal-assist range of 18 to 25 miles, depending on rider weight, terrain, speed, and riding conditions. A full recharge takes about 4 to 5 hours, making it easy to top off between commutes, errands, or casual rides.

The small size and folding design are the biggest selling points here. It’s designed to fold in about 10 seconds, which makes it easier to store in small spaces or bring along when a standard bike would be too bulky. It also includes front fork and center shock absorbers to help smooth out bumps, plus an adjustable handlebar and seat for a more comfortable ride. Front and rear lights add visibility, and UL2849 certification gives it an added safety credential.

This isn’t the bike for long trail rides or high-speed off-road use, but for short commutes, city rides, neighborhood trips, storage-limited spaces, and riders who want a fun little e-bike at a low price, it’s a solid option.

“It’s super easy to set up out of the box,” said one happy shopper. “It’s a fun little bike, and it folds up so I can put it in my closet.”

Another reviewer said, “This e-bike has a lot of power and folds up for easy storage.”
