A power drill and impact driver are two of the most useful power tools for amateurs and professionals alike. It might seem unnecessary to have both, but while they look similar they do very different things. If your own tool collection is in need of an upgrade, Walmart has a tremendous deal for you.
The DeWalt Atomic 20V Max Drill/Driver and Impact Driver Combo Kit is on sale for $169 at Walmart, 32% off its normal $249 price tag. It comes with both tools, two batteries, a charger, and a bag. Lots of tool deals are on bare tools only, so a multi-tool kit with all the accessories like this is somewhat rare, the perfect choice for someone who wants to make one purchase and get to work ASAP.
Rare DealBoth of these tools are powerful and durable enough for contractors and simple enough for DIYers to use just as easily. The drill/driver is just 5.88 inches front to back, so it can fit into tight spaces, and spins up to 1,650 RPM. The impact driver delivers up to 1,700 inch-pounds of torque and is even smaller, at just 5.1 inches. Both tools have integrated LED work lights, variable speed triggers, and a lightweight design that’s a trademark of DeWalt’s Atomic line. The 2.0Ah batteries aren’t the biggest, but they’re enough for jobs around the house, particularly when you can always have one charging on the included charger.
“I’ve owned this kit for two years now,” one shopper wrote, calling it “very handy” and “so easy to use.” These tools are “strong and versatile” with “enough power and weight to tackle many projects in my house and maintain my three vehicles.”
Another customer bought this set as an extra to avoid packing their other tools on the go. Now, it’s “my go-to-driver” because it’s “super lightweight, compact, and plenty powerful.” They’re “very impressed” with these tools.
