One thing that gets overlooked when shopping for a backyard shed is the floor. A lot of the cheaper models don’t come with one, which means figuring out what to put underneath before you can start storing anything. That’s one reason resin sheds are worth considering. With winter getting closer, having a dry spot for garden tools, bags of soil, patio cushions, and smaller lawn equipment sounds a lot better than leaving everything piled up in the garage. And unlike a huge metal storage shed, a compact resin model doesn’t need to take over the backyard.
With this clearance deal we found at Walmart, the Easyhawk 4-Foot by 6-Foot Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale for $300, a massive 55% discount off its normal $660 price. That’s $360 off, and the included molded floor is a nice perk at this price. The shed measures 47.6 inches wide, 70.9 inches deep, and 76.6 inches high, giving you just over 6 feet of height without needing much yard space. It could fit along the side of a garage, near a garden, or in a backyard corner where a larger shed would be too much. You’ll still want to prepare a sturdy surface underneath, but at least you’re not buying separate flooring panels.
This shed is built with resin wall panels rather than traditional sheet metal, so there’s no metal siding to rust, and the material should be fairly easy to keep clean. The roof slopes to help rainwater drain off, while vents allow some air to circulate when the door is closed. Speaking of the door, it’s designed to accept a padlock, although you’ll have to buy one separately. The kit comes with instructions, organized parts, and assembly gloves.
For $300, it’s worth a look if you’d rather have a smaller, lower-maintenance shed with a floor already included than spend your weekend figuring out how to build one.
