DeWalt’s 29-Piece Screwdriving Bit Set Is $28 at Walmart, and It’s a ‘Must-Have’ For Anyone Who Works on Cars

From this DeWalt 21-piece titanium drill bit set to this DeWalt 40-piece impact bit set, Walmart keeps many of DeWalt’s most popular bit sets in stock. Some, such as the DeWalt 35-Piece Impact-Ready Screwdriving Bit Set, which is on sale for $55 right now, down from $72, are deeply discounted. But even if you don’t score a deal on these DeWalt sets, you can find many with lower-than-anticipated retail prices when you purchase them at Walmart.

Take the DeWalt 29-Piece Screwdriving Bit Set, for example. It’s a solid set of strong bits, so it’s no surprise to see it selling for well over $30 at some stores. But if you order the set from Walmart, you can buy it for only $28, a fantastic price considering how much use you will likely get out of it in the coming years.

This definitely isn’t the biggest DeWalt bit set — options like the DeWalt 100-Piece Flextorq Impact Driver Bit Set are much larger — but it still manages to provide plenty of the most commonly used bits among tool enthusiasts. It features 12 1-inch Phillips insert bits, four 1-inch slotted insert bits, eight 1-inch square-recess bits, and two 2-inch Phillips and square power bits. It also boasts a few essential accessories, including a magnetic drive guide, along with 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch magnetic nut drivers.

But it doesn’t stop there. This bit set is also packaged in a connectable ToughCase+. It helps to both protect the bits inside and keep them more organized overall. Some reviewers argue that this case is worth the purchase price alone, thanks to the convenience it offers when it’s time for them to retrieve bits in the middle of jobs.

“I bought this set for a DIY project, and these bits really came in handy,” one reviewer wrote. “I love how durable the case is.”

Another shopper simply wrote, “It’s a must-have,” suggesting it’s the ideal bit set for anyone tackling auto repairs, DIY jobs, or other tasks.
