If you’re in the market for a socket set, DeWalt has you covered. The century-old brand offers a wide range of socket sets in different sizes, ranging from the DeWalt 23-Piece Impact Socket Set to the DeWalt 142-Piece Mechanics Tool Kit and Socket Set. Yet, very few of these sets come anywhere close to competing with the sheer size of the DeWalt socket set that is currently on sale at Amazon for almost 50% off its regular retail price.
The DeWalt 192-Piece Socket Wrench Set is one of the largest socket sets in the entire DeWalt collection. It typically retails for $290, but Amazon has marked down its price to $170, making it a great time to strike if you’ve been searching for a first-rate socket set that will last for many years to come.
When we say this product is “one of the largest socket sets in the entire DeWalt collection,” we mean that literally. The set comes in an even bigger than anticipated carrying case that measures nearly 24 inches long, 19 inches tall, and 5 inches deep.
Once you crack this case open, it won’t take long to realize why it’s so substantial. It contains a huge socket set that includes three 72-tooth, quick-release ratchets, 42 1/4-inch drive sockets, 44 3/8-inch drive sockets, 40 1/2-inch drive sockets, three 3/8-inch spark plug sockets, 17 3/8-inch drive bit sockets, 28 hex keys, and 15 other accessories.
Each of the tools and sockets in this set features a polished chrome-vanadium finish, providing them with ample strength and durability. Each one also boasts hand-stamped markings, ensuring they’re all easily identifiable. Additionally, the sockets in this set utilize DeWalt’s DirectTorque technology, enabling them to achieve a secure grip on fasteners without rounding their corners.
“These tools are solid, heavy-duty, and professional quality,” one reviewer wrote. “The ratchet works smoothly, and the variety of sizes makes the set perfect for both big and small car repair jobs.”
“Best socket set I’ve ever owned,” another reviewer added. “It has everything you need.”
