Investing in a reliable set of ratcheting wrenches is a must if you plan to do auto repairs these days. The engine bays in most modern vehicles are jam-packed with parts, making it nearly impossible to access fasteners without these wrenches.
By ordering the Amazon Basics 5-Piece Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set, you can get the ratcheting wrenches you need without breaking the bank. This set normally costs just $24 at Amazon, which is already a very reasonable price. But when you buy one now, you can land it for a 365-day low price of only $13, a savings of over 40%.
This ratcheting wrench set has earned over 1,200 five-star ratings, and people have consistently been impressed with more than just its price after putting it to the test. It includes five wrenches in some of the most commonly used SAE sizes — 5/16-, 3/8-, 1/2-, 9/16-, and 11/16-inch — and each is made from chrome vanadium steel for superior strength and durability.
These wrenches are also specifically designed to work well within tight spaces. They have 72-tooth ratchet mechanisms that require only 5-degree arc swings. They also feature flex heads that tilt up to 180 degrees, making hard-to-access fasteners even easier to reach.
Additionally, the five wrenches in this set come neatly packaged in a plastic carrying case, to sweeten the deal a little more. You can also pair this set with a nearly identical metric set for just $20, so you have everything you need to handle almost any fastener size.
“I’m not a professional mechanic, so I can’t speak to their longevity or durability, but these are high-quality wrenches,” one reviewer wrote. “They have one open end and one ratcheting end that pivots, and they also have a great finish.”
“This set is on the same level as sets from big brand names,” another reviewer added. “They look and feel fantastic and offer way more bang for your buck.”
