Overview
The 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron compact electric luxury SUV is back after having skipped the 2026 model year. The “6” in its name would suggest a midsize car, but the Q6 e-tron is in fact the same size as the compact BMW iX3, and compares with this and the Volvo EX60, the Genesis Electrified GV70, and others. It shares its PPE architecture with the Porsche Macan Electric and slots in between the subcompact Q4 and midsize Q8 e-trons. All trims come with dual motors and Quattro AWD, and 456 horsepower. The Q6 e-tron blends premium refinement and all-weather traction in a compact SUV body.

What’s New for 2027
The 2027 Q6 e-tron loses the 332-hp RWD powertrain this year, so all trims now have dual motors, Quattro AWD, and 456 hp. There are meaningful tech upgrades as well, with an updated multi-function steering wheel that sees the return of the scroll wheel in place of the old touch controls, reworked gauge cluster graphics, a newly available dashcam, and expanded voice control. The upgraded one-pedal drive mode can now bring the vehicle to a complete stop. A new Power Nap mode creates a restful cabin while charging the battery, and three years / 30,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance now comes as standard.
Despite the discontinuation of the 332-hp powertrain this year, the 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron’s price starts only $700 higher at $64,500.

Exterior
The Q6 e-tron is streamlined, but with defined SUV proportions and creased wheel arches that remind one of sporty ’80s Audis’ box arches. Split-level LED headlights and a mesh grille give it a premium countenance that ties in with the gas Audis. Wheels measure 19 inches, but 20s are available. Dynamic turn signals are standard, but taillight animations are featured on upper trims. The Sportback body style features a more dynamic, sporty design with a sloped roof that reduces practicality but boosts style.
Interior
Audi’s “digital stage” interior comprises an 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster and a 14.5-inch touchscreen, while the Prestige also gets a 10.9-inch passenger display (optional on the Premium Plus). Heated power front seats, drive modes, tri-zone climate control, wireless smartphone mirroring, and leather upholstery are standard, and material quality is excellent. Higher trims gain a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon audio, and more. The Sportback has less rear headroom and cargo space, but the same 37.4 inches of rear legroom as the SUV.
Price Range and Best Value Trim
| Trim | Price |
| Base Q6 trim: Premium | $64,500 |

The mid-range Premium Plus is the sweet spot, adding a panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats, a surround-view camera, and B&O audio for an extra $4,300 over the Premium.
2027 Audi Q6 e-tron Specs Overview
Audi now offers a single dual-motor setup with Quattro AWD across the lineup, so the mechanical story is simple; trims differ in equipment rather than running gear.
Powertrain and Battery Options
| Powertrain type | Motor output (hp) | System horsepower | Battery capacity (kWh) | Drivetrain |
| Dual electric motors | 422 (continuous) | 456 (launch control) | 100 (94.4 usable) | quattro AWD |
Range and Efficiency (MPGe / MPG / Electric Range)
The Q6 e-tron Quattro earns 110/97/104 MPGe city/highway/combined on 19-inch wheels in either SUV or Sportback format, with 325 miles of range. The combined figure drops to 96 MPGe with the 20-inch wheels, and range drops to 301 miles.
Charging
The 100-kWh battery can be charged at up to 270 kW, enabling a 10-80% charge in 21 minutes at the maximum charging speed. Level 2 charging at 9.6 kW will take about 12 hours. NACS adapter support for Tesla’s Supercharger network is included. Regenerative braking includes a one-pedal mode this year that can bring the vehicle to a stop.
Performance and 0-60 MPH
With launch control and the full 456 hp, the Q6 e-tron sprints from zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and tops out at a limited 130 mph. The powertrain provides plenty of punch for overtaking and merging, and handling is neat and predictable, with a comfortable ride.

Dimensions
The compact Q6 e-tron’s long wheelbase maximizes cabin space within a manageable footprint.
| Dimension | SUV | Sportback |
| Length | 187.8 in | 187.8 in |
| Width (without mirrors) | 76.3 in | 76.3 in |
| Height | 66.6 in | 65.1 in |
| Wheelbase | 113.7 in | 113.7 in |
Interior Space (Front and Rear)
| Measurement | Front | Rear |
| Headroom SUV | 38.5 in | 38.4 in |
| Headroom Sportback | 37.6 in | 37.0 in |
| Legroom SUV | 39.8 in | 37.4 in |
| Legroom Sportback | 39.9 in | 37.4 in |
| Seating capacity | 2 | 2-3 |
Cargo Space
The Q6 e-tron SUV’s trunk measures 30.2 cubic feet with all the seats in use and 60.2 cu-ft with the second row folded. The Sportback’s styling drops these figures to 26.1 and 52.9 cu-ft, respectively.
Ground Clearance
The Q6’s ground clearance is modest for an SUV, topping out at about 7.2 inches, so it will make short work of steep driveways and rough roads, but it is not meant for off-roading. The optional air suspension can raise the car to a maximum of nine inches.
Warranty
Audi adds complimentary maintenance for the first time this year.
| Coverage | Term |
| New Vehicle Limited Warranty | 4 years / 50,000 miles |
| Powertrain | 4 years / 50,000 miles |
| Corrosion | 12 years / unlimited miles |
| Audi Signature Care Complimentary Maintenance | 3 years / 30,000 miles |

Verdict
The 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron isn’t resting on its laurels, despite still being a very new car, and its tech is usefully improved for the new model year. It’s now an even better-rounded compact electric SUV with Audi’s signature blend of technology, refinement, handling, and all-weather Quattro composure. It’s tastefully styled, performs well, and offers a range of over 300 miles in all versions, with 270-kW charging possible and access to Tesla’s Supercharger network.
The switch to the 456-hp Quattro powertrain came with a small price penalty, so it remains good value, with the mid-level Premium Plus being the sweet spot thanks to added features like a panoramic sunroof, B&O audio, and a surround-view camera. The Q6 e-tron remains an excellent choice if you’re looking for a premium compact without any notable weaknesses and a strong tech offering.
