2026 Lexus GX in a Nutshell
Since 2002, the GX has served Lexus well in the midsize SUV market. Based on the Land Cruiser Prado, it blends the rugged underpinnings of its Toyota-badged counterpart with the luxuries one expects from the brand. That formula has stayed the same for decades, but this time around, there’s a twist.
Introduced in 2023 for the 2024 model year, the new-generation GX trades elegance for boxiness. Like before, it’s based on the Land Cruiser Prado, but the redesigned model taps more into Toyota’s SUV heritage with a touch more retro appeal. Of course, the luxuries remain with more than enough changes to differentiate it from the Land Cruiser. As it’s fresh from a full model change, the GX is largely carried over from last year.

2026 Lexus GX Lease Deals for February
Unlike last month, the GX only has one lease deal this February. The good news is, it’s pretty much the same as January’s offer. That means the entry-level Premium goes for $759 per month for 42 months with $5,999 due at signing.
For those who missed out on January’s promo, now would be a good time to check out this offer. There’s still a good amount of time left, too, as the offer is valid until March 2, 2026. By the way, it’s $0.25 for every mile over 10,000 miles per year.

2026 Lexus GX Highlights
With six trims available, the 2026 Lexus GX starts from $66,935, all the way to $82,045. The models to choose from are the Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail, and Overtrail+. Every GX comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power tailgate, and LexusCare. Premium+ models add a surround view monitor, heated second-row seats, and a hands-free tailgate.
Opt for the Luxury model, and that gets semi-aniline leather seats, 22-inch wheels, and massaging seats at the front. The Luxury+ further adds a Mark Levinson 21-speaker sound system, panoramic glass roof, and power extending running boards. As for the off-road-oriented Overtrail, it’s the only one that gets the clever electronic kinetic suspension along with all-terrain tires and a rear differential locker as standard.
All are powered by the 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V6, which is something unavailable in the Land Cruiser. The two extra cylinders and the additional turbo bump output up to 349 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque.

Final Thoughts
Okay, it’s not the cheapest midsize three-row SUV to lease, but the GX offers something most of its rivals don’t. That would be true off-road capability and a ladder-frame chassis. Sure, the crossovers will handle better, but the GX is all about robustness and driving off the beaten path with little to no fuss. To sum it up, this luxury midsize three-row is for the more adventurous types.
