The 2026 BMW X3 in a Nutshell
The X3 isn’t just the best-selling BMW model in America; it’s Bavaria’s top seller yet again. It’s succeeded the 3 Series as BMW’s sales champion, indeed a sign of the times. Not bad considering the first generation wasn’t exactly that well-received all those years ago.
Four generations of the X3 have been made since 2003, and the latest version was introduced in 2024 for the 2025 model year. Given that, the 2026 X3 carries over largely unchanged from last year, save for a few more standard features.

2026 BMW X3 Lease Deals for February
The good news here is that both trims of the X3 are offered with special lease deals this month. Then again, BMW isn’t shy from offering promos to nearly all of its cars and respective trims. It’s worth saying that this month’s leasing rates are cheaper than last month’s.
Starting with the X3 30 xDrive, it goes for $569 for 39 months with $5,169 due at signing. As for the top-spec M50 xDrive, that one can be leased for $759 per month with $5,779 due at signing. For qualified previous BMW lessees, there is a credit worth $1,000, but only in select states. As always, mileage is capped at 32,500 miles during the lease period, and it’s $0.25 for every mile exceeded. Offer valid until March 2, 2026.

2026 BMW X3 Highlights
As mentioned, there are two versions of the X3 available, namely the 30 xDrive and M50 xDrive. Their base prices are at $51,300 and $66,500, respectively. Both X3 trims come standard with basic advanced driver assists, the latest generation of iDrive with curved screen display, sport seats, power tailgate, and digital key.
Additions to the 2026 model year include automated lane change, traffic light recognition, and parking assist. Various option packages are available for both models. There’s the Convenience Package that adds a panoramic moonroof, remote start, and heated steering wheel, while the Premium Package gets all that plus a head-up display and upgraded driver assists.
Powering the X3 30 xDrive is the now-familiar 2.0-liter turbo with 251 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. For those who prefer six-cylinders, go for the M50 xDrive with its 3.0-liter turbo putting out 393 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque.

Final Thoughts
It’s a best-seller for a reason. As far as luxury compact crossovers go, the X3 is near the head of the pack. It handles as a BMW should, plus the supple ride makes it a fantastic daily runaround. Both engine choices will satisfy most, and there’s no denying the practicality of these crossovers. Overall, the X3 is a great all-rounder with not much in the way of vices.
