Toyota’s 2025 Tacoma Lease offers bring big savings this August

Even if you aren’t a car enthusiast, you’re probably acutely aware of the Toyota Tacoma. Toyota sold 192,813 of them last year, and for good reason. It boasts reliability, relative simplicity, and, importantly, decent affordability.

For August, Toyota is offering an attractive lease deal that allows you to take home a new 2025 Toyota Tacoma for as little as $249 per month. The lease term is 36 months and includes 12,000 miles per year. The offer requires $3,999 due at signing, but you’ll also enjoy two years or 25,000 miles of complimentary ToyotaCare. So, scheduled services are taken care of. In some areas, the lease offer is arguably better: customers in the greater NY metro can find deals as good as $229 per month with the same money down and 10,000 miles per year. The quoted payment doesn’t include taxes, fees, origination fees, or other charges.

Prefer $0 down on your Toyota Tacoma lease?

For shoppers who prefer a true $0 down lease on the 2025 Toyota Tacoma, the $3,999 due at signing can be spread evenly across the 36-month term. That works out to roughly $111 per month, bringing the effective monthly cost to about $360 per month instead of $249. In the New York metro area, where the Tacoma lease starts at $229 with the same down payment, rolling in the upfront cost raises the effective monthly payment to around $340 per month. Both offers still include 12,000 (or 10,000 in NY) miles per year. This isn’t an official quote on a zero-down lease, and doesn’t include taxes, fees, and other charges. More about the Toyota Tacoma

The Toyota Tacoma has been around nearly longer than the mid-size truck segment itself has been, and Toyota’s experience in the segment shows. The Tacoma does everything well: towing, lighter hauling, off-roading, and everything in between. Max towing capacity sits at 6500 pounds, and the truck can handle 1705 pounds of payload. Although there’s no V6 model available anymore, the turbocharged four-cylinder delivers better fuel economy. The EPA says the Tacoma can return as much as 26 mpg on the highway. With a five- or six-foot bed available on lower trims, great standard equipment that includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and even a manual transmission option, there’s almost no niche that the Tacoma does not cater to in some way.

Final thoughts

It’s surprising to see such a popular model offered with such a competitive lease payment right off the bat, but here we are. Using the “1% of MSRP” rule, the Tacoma is a pretty solid lease right off the bat. Just a little bit of negotiation can likely drop you below the $350 mark on a zero-down lease, which is great. The reliability jury is still out on whether the current-generation Tacoma is going to hold up as well as the last generation did, and that’s perhaps reason enough to explore leasing a Tacoma. Overall, in August, it’s a solid lease.
