The Artura is McLaren’s newest vision of the future
It may not be the McLaren of the future, but the 2025 McLaren Artura looks like it might be from the future. Bold styling mixes classic GTS cues with 750S aggression, and its hybrid powertrain impresses on short and long drives. Even the two-seater Artura’s interior feels forward-facing for a supercar, suggesting this might be the direction McLaren is heading. If you want to be on the cutting edge of supercars, the 2025 Artura might be worth a look.
If you’re not quite sure about dropping upwards of $300,000 on a PHEV supercar, there are lease deals available for the 2025 McLaren Artura. McLaren of San Francisco lists three 2025 Arturas with monthly payments between $2,340 and $2,612, all with $40,000 due at signing on a 36-month term. McLaren of Newport Beach offers two options: a 12-month single-pay lease for $95,000, or a 24-month lease with a $20,000 down payment and a monthly payment of $3,014.

Can you lease a McLaren Artura for zero down at signing?
We had no trouble finding the 2025 McLaren Artura available for lease, but dealerships we spoke with said they’d be unwilling to deliver a lease for zero down. If you can find a McLaren dealer who accepts zero-down leases, expect your monthly payment to balloon by 15-25 percent. Further, other lease terms, like annual mileage allowance, might be renegotiated by the dealership.
2025 McLaren Artura highlights
The 2025 McLaren Artura’s interior is functional, but not flashy. The automaker’s 7-inch touchscreen infotainment screen is not embedded in the dash or console – it floats freely. There are few buttons in the cabin, and the two-seater has microsuede or leather options for the driver and passenger. There’s also less carbon fiber inside than other McLarens, a touch the company has become known for.
Outside, the Artura is reminiscent of the GTS with its bold air intakes behind the doors and sweeping front hood. The cabin is minimal in size, too, which lets air flow over it and through to the mid-mount engine and ample backside, where downforce is needed to keep you grounded.

Behind the cabin sits a hybrid twin-turbo V6, while an axial flux motor sits in the housing of the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In tandem, the two motors produce 690 horsepower and 531 lb ft of torque. McLaren says drivers can expect 21 miles of electric-only driving, but if you’re one to sprint off the line, the 2025 Artura can go 0-60 in under three seconds.
Final thoughts
A plug-in hybrid supercar seems far-fetched, but it’s here. If you love McLaren’s style but have been leaning toward leasing a hybrid, this is the news you’ve been waiting for. For more information on the Artura, visit the McLaren website.
