The 2025 Genesis G80 is a true luxury sedan
Even more than its chief Japanese rival, the Lexus ES, the Genesis G80 is a midsize luxury sedan that truly delivers. Where the ES might not deliver looks to please everyone, the Genesis has the composure that makes you mutter “Bentley” under your breath. It comes with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 300 horsepower, but the better option is the optional twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6, which runs with the effortlessness of good Kentucky bourbon and delivers a mighty 375 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive come standard with either powerplant.
The G80 knows that its mission is ride comfort and quiet cruising, and it’s delivered with enough grace and certainty that you’re reminded why the civilized among us buy luxury sedans in the first place. For September, the G80 is offered with a lease that’s sure to lure you into the Genesis showroom.

The 2025 Genesis G80 lease deal for September
Southern California residents can lease a base Genesis G80 2.5T for $589 per month for three years and 30,000 miles, the 2.5T Advanced model for $689 per month, and the 2.5T Sport Prestige for $749 per month. Prefer the V6? The 3.5T Sport Advanced is available for $799 a month, while the 3.5T Sport Prestige is offered for $949 a month. All leases require $4,999 at lease signing, but easing the cost is a $2,500 Customer Bonus that can be applied towards the lease, except for those in Texas, who get a $2,000 Kerr County Relief rebate instead. If you’re already a Genesis owner, you’ll also be eligible for a $1,000 Loyalty Bonus or, if you own a qualifying competitive vehicle, a $1,000 Competitive Owner incentive.
In addition, Active-Duty Personnel, reservists, National Guard members, Veterans, retired U.S. Military Personnel, and first responders are eligible for a further $500 bonus toward a lease, while recent or upcoming college graduates are eligible for a $400 bonus. These lease offers expire on September 30, 2025.

No security deposit is required, but a disposition fee of $400 is charged in most states at the end of the lease. Price excludes tax, license, title, registration, documentation fees, options, and insurance. Keep in mind that, when leasing, consider the monthly payment cost, taxes, and fees before signing. Prefer $0 down?
If you’re not in the mood to put thousands of dollars down, the base Genesis G80 2.5T could cost $712 a month, while a 2.5T Advanced model runs about $809, and the 2.5T Sport Prestige costs $867 a month. Opting for the 3.5T Sport Advanced requires a monthly payment of $916, while the 3.5T Sport Prestige costs $1,062 per month. These aren’t official figures, though, so check with Genesis directly to see what kind of $0 down offers are available.

Final thoughts
Luxury without indulgence is merely austerity with leather seats. The Genesis G80 reminds us that the best character in a luxury sedan is not aggression, but composure, not ferocity but poise. In a world where so many cars try to be all things to all people, the 2025 Genesis G80 knows what it is—and it does it magnificently with a very competitive lease.
