The legendary name returns

The iconic Chevy Blazer nameplate is back, and the bowtie brand is using it for its modern interpretation. The family-friendly gas version of the Blazer slots in above the smaller Equinox and below the three-row Traverse. The Blazer’s look is more sporty than rugged, and it’s characterized by a large mesh grille, sharp cut lines in the body, and a floating roof design meant to draw the eye. The mid-sizer is also affordably priced in a very competitive segment. It carries over from 2024 largely unchanged, with just a spicy paint color addition, Habanero Orange.

The 2025 Chevy Blazer comes in four trim levels: 2LT ($35,600), 3LT ($39,500), RS ($43,000), and Premier ($43,00). Two engine choices include a 228-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and an available 308-hp 3.6-liter V6, which is standard on the RS and optional on the 3LT and Premier. Both engines are mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission with FWD standard and AWD optional. The good news is that Chevy is offering up a great lease deal on the Blazer for September.

Final thoughts

Chevrolet

The Blazer looks great from every angle and displays a more aggressive design than Chevy’s other SUV offerings. The affordable monthly lease payment makes it even more attractive in September. Before signing the lease agreement, be aware of the costs due at signing, including taxes and registration fees, etc. Read the lease agreement carefully and inquire about potential additional costs at the dealership.
